Influential Mentoring Series

A six-session training series designed for Lead Mentors in the Georgia Clinical & Translational Science Alliance (KL2/TL1/MSR programs) covering topics that build mentoring knowledge and skills with a focus on improving and supporting equitable mentorship for diverse trainees. Each 1-hour session focuses on a variety of material:

  • Session 1: Mentoring Definitions, Inclusive Mentorship & Mentoring Teams

  • Session 2: Mentoring Tools: IDPs, Mentor Agreements, Mentor Map

  • Session 3: Communication and Feedback in Mentorship

  • Session 4: Coaching Tips for Mentors

  • Session 5: Building Support for Diverse Mentees

  • Session 6: Mentorship Tips to Help Mentees
